Food glorious food

When it comes to matters of food I consider myself more of a consumer then a creator but for you, I'm willing to try the other side...

NIQABITCH

Once you get over your shock, and you open your mind and drop your own prejudices, I hope that you find this protest to be what it is, a freedom of speech.

These ladies retaliated to the ban on niqab and hijab in France by producing this protest of their own. You may not like it but they certainly have a point.

By mixing the sacred with the profane they illustrate the ridicule we bring ourselves by placing such importance on fabric. Yes! I wear the hijab! but I wear it for my own reasons that are largely assosciated with religious ones but that is neither here nor there. One of the reasons I wear it and keep it is because I feel that I should be free to wear what I want in as much of an abundance as I like or as little for that matter.

Maybe it is the boom of the fashion industry that have ours and other western societies so obsessed with outward appearence, I don't know.

Some people hate these woman for what they did, and I'm sure the majority of which were muslim! can you believe it!!!!!! muslims! like me, asking for the right and freedom to wear what pleases them and yet tearing these women down for exorcising the same right- ok sure they were doing it purely for provocation - but as long as we want freedom of speach then we will have to listen to a whole lot of things that we don't necesarily like or want to hear and we shouldn't complain whilst doing so either.

The message is clear! freedom for all and hipocracy for none, its just a shame that they had to walk in the shoes of those they are trying to reach out to... NO I don't mean muslims, I mean hypocrites.

Think what you will, I commend them and I'm proud to do so

DAMN

I immerse myself in my 'work',
I put the radio on my phone and plug in the hands-free and blare the thoughts out of my head,
I try to ignore my erratic heart beat,
my fever all over my body,
I clench my fist, my toes.
I worry for anyone that crosses me at this moment,
I want to scream, in many ways!
It's so unnatural and yet so natural?,
my eyebrows are dented in the middle giving me a pleading look!
I need a release!
I gulp,
I sigh heavily,
I grit my teeth,
I laugh at myself.

It's still there,
for another day!

DAMN!

(Oh'..) Lord of the Flies

He must have been on a stake out for the past few days, observing it's enemy (namely me) and the habits with which to use upon my destruction.

I could ignore him for the sake of an un-interrupted episode of 'desperate housewives' which only led to irritate him even more so.

teasing me he would linger around my head, screaming in my ear.

ENOUGH was ENOUGH!

I flicked the switch to stun the sod HA HA

it faked an injury only to screw with my mind when it flipped out and starting darting around the room

I grabbed the deodorant and fired it in short blasts......

no joy!
I just couldn't get it within my line of fire.

twisting and turning around the room i emptied my ammo on everything but the blasted FLY!!

until i collapsed back on to my bed defeated.......

choking.....

itching.....

gassed.....

and off it flew nonchalantly out the door!

Cryptoff!!!!! American Airlines Cancels Another 900 Flights

The American dream foiled by as little as a loose wire and concerns of weapons of 'Mass destruction' takes a back-seat to a technological melt-down.
So ironically 2000 Americans are imprisoned in their own so called utopia.
"They didn't get a message to me at all"
is all that's to be said by Colleen Betts.

Chapter:116, Verse:12

"Doomed art thou of whom their possession's wheels beside them in form that is carry-able, verily those are the disliked by the righteous. 12:16"

I never did get his name

He was French.
He was currently residing in Dorking, which he liked, contrary to Sheffield and Southampton.
He knew a person who was charged 75p a text from England to wales
He disagreed it was a different country.
He uses Cd's as mirrors
He enjoys cycling, however he was not doing so on his trip to Windsor.
He worked as a night security officer, and the hour in which he started work was the worst of them all.
He believed that the English could look after themselves, when they weren't busy drinking.
He had a dog, she died 2 years ago.
He then discovered himself as a 'Dog Whisperer'.
He took 45 minutes max to rehabilitate a dog.
He took 3 weeks to re-train a human.
He told me I could find him at someplace in Boxhill.

'A guy walks in to a doctors and sais -doctor doctor...'

Jessi: It's a good job that I'm not a doctor!
Dr Rogers: Why is that, because you might drop the knife?
Jessi: Exactly
Dr Rogers: the worst thing to be said in an operating theatre is 'whoops!'

BEWARE FACEBOOK!!

So, the main thing that spurred me on to do a blog was facebook.

I get the usefulness of it and like the 'almost' set up of holding a running commentary on your life but it became so blonde and empty! With all these people that I thought I had got rid of finding me, adding me and then, as a result being emailed every 5 minutes because Sharon or Tracy had changed there status from "pregnant for the 3rd time" to "mash-up at -some club-".

Hamzah Moin, Creator of 'Maniac Muslim' describes some of the other ridiculous points to facebook best on his site, which reading has become some what of a Monday morning pick-up for me. The above pic is taken from his article 'Annoying Stalker Brothers'.

Only in America~

Last year, Bukhari convinced his entire class to dress up as “Muslims”. “It scared the hell out of the faculty that’s for sure” said an anonymous Grade 3 student. Several children in the class embraced Islam as a result after experiencing how fun it is being a Muslim and not being Freddy Kreuger or a fairy princess for a change.

Bukhari’s parents have also been notorious for their bizarre antics during Halloween. Khalid Bukhari, 41, says, “We like to hide Hadith reminders in the wrappers of the candy we give out so they know more about Islam” It was reported that 8 children were hospitalized for eating their Hadith reminders, not realizing they were inedible. “It seems their stomachs are daeef (weak)” joked Mr. Bukhari.
