I often say to people that I am not a Christian or a Jew as much as I am not a Muslim. I am a follower of the religion of Abraham.
Although all of what I study is enthraling and important, there are certain things that I find to be highlighted before me. The below Reference to the Bible is one of those that, for me re-itterates the need for belief in the 'religion of Abraham' to take more importance as a label to that of 'Islam'.
'Then God spoke all these words: I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery; you shall have no other gods before me.
